At Terra Natura, in Benidorm, be thrilled and swim with the rays and sharks. You will be sharing the water with over 20 Mediterranean marine creatures, including four sharks in captivity. Your initial fear will soon be replaced by a sensation of peaceful serenity, as you come to experience this unique direct contact with nature.

Equipment is provided but you will need to bring your swimsuit! Then dive into an incredible tank filled with sea water, where you’ll be able to swim in the company of twenty different marine species from the Mediterranean.

The tank is heated to 22 degrees Celsius and includes four sharks, two dogfish, and 30 rays; as well as grey mullets, red breams, gilthead breams, sargos, sea bass, and highland fish.

The largest animal in the tank is a 1.6 metre long shark, which can grow to be 3.5 metres in length.

The Terra Natura activity is done in small groups, lead by a monitor, and includes an introductory presentation by an aquarium expert on the fauna to be seen, and how to use the diving equipment.

You won’t want to miss this fantastic experience which awakens the senses, ranging from fear at the outset to an amazing sense of tranquillity beneath the water.
