High school students recently took part in a peaceful protest in Valencia City to protest against their schools not being paid for electricity or heating. They were taught by their teachers how to protest peacefully. The police turned out in riot gear and treated the kids and parents like criminals. This is now daily life for many students and parents here in Valencia and there has been no media coverage of these attrocities. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS REGIME - MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD.

Formula 1 Grand Prix in Valencia
The dates for the 2011 F1 Grand Prix of Europe (Valencia) are to be confirmed. The practices and qualifying races are also to be confirmed with the main race on the Valencia Street Circuit [to be confirmed].
The Valencia Formula 1 Grand Prix will be held in the streets of Valencia (the Valencia Street Circuit).
The following information is based on the 2010 dates to give you a rough idea...
Practice - Friday 25th June from 10:00-11:30 and 14:00 until 15:30.
Practice - Saturday 26th 11:00-12:00
Qualifying - Saturday 26th at 14:00
Sunday 27th - the race commences at 14:00 local time.
Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday 22 December 2009 from el corte ingles and bancaja.
