Volvo Ocean Race 2008

The Volvo Ocean Race round the world sailing competition kicks off from Alicante on 11 October 2008. Preceding that there is the In Port Race off the coast of Alicante on 4 October 2008. The Village Alicante is a massive area specially created and holding a programme of events for all ages including the UB40 and Bryan Adams concerts as part of the celebrations.
