Let's start an english book club

I love to read. But I find it very difficult to buy english books in Valencia. Ofcourse I'll buy them of the internet and that works but it is very expensive .

Lately me and some friends started to swap books, so we keep up to date, and you read a lot more.

Do you have the budget to buy a few books a week?

We even started to trade kids books and that worked as well. Do you have any second hand books for sale or to swap. please respond to this article. put down yur telephone number or contact Dorrine.

My wish would be that we could start a book fair as well as a bookclub online.

I have a book suggestion, for the bookclub

The time traveller's wife

by Audrey Niffenegger.

An extraordinary love story of Clare and Henry who met when Clare was six and Henry was thirty- six. A very intricate story where everything comes together in a very strange way. Time is used in such a way that you keep on wondering. Only the end of the book gives you all the answers.

I found this a book hard to put down and look forward to your opinion.

Well I hope you will like my news then. When I came to Valencia I saw there were only options to buy new, whereas I was looking for more of cheaper option. As i couldn't find one, I made one so now there is a 2nd hand international bookshop, so hopefully this will suit you too. I'm based in Valencia city, called Kandabooks. My address is Calle de la Tapineria 18. Hope to see you or hear from you. If you want anything specifically, you can check on my website www.kandabooks.com and it links to a full list of everything I have. Enjoy :)

Hi, I work in a hotel in the centre of Valencia and we have rather a lot of English books which are left behind by guests. I must admit that they are not necessarily great works of literature but I would still rather give them away than throw them away. If you would like them for the book club or know of somewhere they would be welcome then please let me know.

I will be moving to Valencia in two weeks, and would love to join you in your book club! If you are currently discussing The Time Traveller's Wife, let me know and I will bring it with me (a fantastic choice, by the way!).
Are there are any bookstores in the city centre that sell English books, or should i bring more with me? I love to keep up with current fiction.
