STOP THE VIOLENCE IN VALENCIA: POLICE VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN ON THE STREETS OF VALENCIA

High school students recently took part in a peaceful protest in Valencia City to protest against their schools not being paid for electricity or heating. They were taught by their teachers how to protest peacefully. The police turned out in riot gear and treated the kids and parents like criminals. This is now daily life for many students and parents here in Valencia and there has been no media coverage of these attrocities. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS REGIME - MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD.

CHIEF OF POLICE ANTONIO MORENO, WHEN ASKED WHETHER HE CONSIDERED THE POLICE RESPONSE "DISPROPORTIONATE" SAID SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF "YOU DON'T GIVE NUMBERS TO YOUR ENEMY".

MR MORENO,  I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU:
ARE CHILDREN YOUR ENEMY? ARE THE PEOPLE OF VALENCIA YOUR ENEMY? IS THIS BUSINESS (WHICH PAYS MORE THAN YOUR ANNUAL WAGES) YOUR ENEMY?

WE CALL FOR THE RESIGNATION OF ANTONIO MORENO, HE'S EVIDENTLY OVERSTRESSED, SLIGHTLY MAD AND CURRENTLY CONTROLLING A DANGEROUS AND VIOLENT FORCE ON THE STREETS OF VALENCIA AGAINST CHILDREN, PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS.

Manises Gastronomic Fair

Manises Gastronomic Fair

During the weekend of the 10th to 12th November, Manises will be receiving a great number of craftsmen from all over the Region, who will be offering the product of their daily work, with the aim of showing those attending the 10th Crafts and Gastronomy Fair the tradition that distinguishes and makes Manises unique.

Ceramics plays an outstanding role within the craft display: there will be demonstrations and participative workshops offered by the town's crafts associations: Amigos de la Cerámica Artesanal (Friends of Artisanal Ceramics), Asociación Valenciana de Cerámica AVEC-Gremio (Valencian Association of Ceramics AVEC - Guild), individual craftsmen and other institutions: Escuela Superior de Cerámica (Ceramics High School), AFADIMA and La Formigueta.

Amongst the planned activities, which will take place in the town square called Rafael Atard, one can highlight the demonstrations of the processes for the production of craft products such as ceramics, chocolate and costume jewellery etc., participative ceramics workshops, inflatable playthings for children and gastronomic tastings of gigantic tortillas (Spanish omelette) or buñuelos (doughnuts) with chocolate.

Manises is known worldwide for its ceramics: the gold and blue ceramics of the 14th and 15th centuries, the tiling, the polychrome ceramic forms of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries and the modernist ceramics of the 20th century are just a few of the examples of the marvels that the craftsmen of this Valencian town produce.
