Bulls in the Sea
Dénia is celebrating its patron festivities in honour of the Santísima Sangre, from the 3rd-11th of July 2010, with the famous Bous a la Mar, declared a Festivity of National Tourism Interest
What started out as an anecdote has ended up becoming one of the events that identifies Dénia: los Bous a la Mar, or bulls in the sea. Both would-be amateur bullfighters and young bulls cannot stop themselves from falling into the sea from the harbour wall of Denia.
Los Bous a la Mar, or bulls in the sea, is one of the highlights of the festivities of la Santísima Sangre.
