STOP THE VIOLENCE IN VALENCIA: POLICE VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN ON THE STREETS OF VALENCIA

High school students recently took part in a peaceful protest in Valencia City to protest against their schools not being paid for electricity or heating. They were taught by their teachers how to protest peacefully. The police turned out in riot gear and treated the kids and parents like criminals. This is now daily life for many students and parents here in Valencia and there has been no media coverage of these attrocities. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS REGIME - MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD.

CHIEF OF POLICE ANTONIO MORENO, WHEN ASKED WHETHER HE CONSIDERED THE POLICE RESPONSE "DISPROPORTIONATE" SAID SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF "YOU DON'T GIVE NUMBERS TO YOUR ENEMY".

The interior design show opens 4th October to 4th November 2007.

A group of industrial buildings that used to be the Vila printer has been transformed into the newest stage for Casa Decor, the most important exhibition of interior design and decoration in Spain. The show will be going on for a month, until 4th November.

The remodelling of the factory (located at number 17 Travesía Mascota) was one of the biggest challenges the organisation has ever faced, and involved transforming 35 interior and exterior spaces. The building dates from 1908 and is now ready to take on the task of presenting the latest trends in fashion for the home. This is the fifth time that Casa Decor is being held, and on this occasion they are going further in the dialogue between interior and exterior space, turning their space into a veritable mini-city.
