STOP THE VIOLENCE IN VALENCIA: POLICE VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN ON THE STREETS OF VALENCIA

High school students recently took part in a peaceful protest in Valencia City to protest against their schools not being paid for electricity or heating. They were taught by their teachers how to protest peacefully. The police turned out in riot gear and treated the kids and parents like criminals. This is now daily life for many students and parents here in Valencia and there has been no media coverage of these attrocities. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS REGIME - MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD.

CHIEF OF POLICE ANTONIO MORENO, WHEN ASKED WHETHER HE CONSIDERED THE POLICE RESPONSE "DISPROPORTIONATE" SAID SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF "YOU DON'T GIVE NUMBERS TO YOUR ENEMY".

Come and enjoy the 9th Classic Rally of January on 20th and 21st of January, which will take place between the cities of Valencia and Calpe. Come and see 50 cars at 50 kilometres per hour.

This is a non competitive tourist rally of classic vehicles made prior to the year 1975. This year, it is planned for the cars to travel around numerous mountain towns in the province of Alicante of which one can highlight the towns of Alcalalí and Callosa d'En Sarrià.

The rally is organised by the Vintage Automobile Club of Valencia. The tourist who comes to see the rally, as well as seeing a majestic landscape surrounded by marvellous nature and enjoying the rich Mediterranean gastronomy, will be able to see cars of great beauty and incalculable value, given that many of them are authentic collector's items.

Come and enjoy a thrilling exhibition rally full of great difficulty due to its being carried out in mountainous terrain and, what's more, with the added incentive of seeing authentic collector's items!

Zapatero on Iraq

Appearing at a rally as part of the Catalan election campaign yesterday, Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero once again raised the Iraq war in his speech, in what many observers saw as a deliberate attempt to draw attention away from the March 11 court cases and the possible talks with Basque terror organization Eta.
