STOP THE VIOLENCE IN VALENCIA: POLICE VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN ON THE STREETS OF VALENCIA

High school students recently took part in a peaceful protest in Valencia City to protest against their schools not being paid for electricity or heating. They were taught by their teachers how to protest peacefully. The police turned out in riot gear and treated the kids and parents like criminals. This is now daily life for many students and parents here in Valencia and there has been no media coverage of these attrocities. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS REGIME - MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD.

CHIEF OF POLICE ANTONIO MORENO, WHEN ASKED WHETHER HE CONSIDERED THE POLICE RESPONSE "DISPROPORTIONATE" SAID SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF "YOU DON'T GIVE NUMBERS TO YOUR ENEMY".

MR MORENO,  I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU:
ARE CHILDREN YOUR ENEMY? ARE THE PEOPLE OF VALENCIA YOUR ENEMY? IS THIS BUSINESS (WHICH PAYS MORE THAN YOUR ANNUAL WAGES) YOUR ENEMY?

WE CALL FOR THE RESIGNATION OF ANTONIO MORENO, HE'S EVIDENTLY OVERSTRESSED, SLIGHTLY MAD AND CURRENTLY CONTROLLING A DANGEROUS AND VIOLENT FORCE ON THE STREETS OF VALENCIA AGAINST CHILDREN, PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS.

Fiesta de San Agusti, Bocairent

Bocairent celebrates the summer festivities, dedicated to Saint Augustineties of the town. The celebrations centre around the "Danses" that have been performed in Bocairent for various centuries, preserving their rituals and essence. They begin every night at eleven, in the main square, the 'Placa de l'Ajuntament'. The characteristics and uniqueness of the 'Dances de Bocairent' make them the most deeply embedded in Valencia. The music of the "tabalet y dolçaina", the traditional garments and some of their most chracteristic rituals, such as the opening of 'las Dansá' each night with a "CAP DE DANSA " ( normally by a married woman, apart from the first night where the dance is opened by the "Clavariesa Major").

It is worth highlighting the "Cadena" (chain), which is formed in between "saltá i saltá" (jumps). It is most worthwhile visiting Bocairent in the five nights of the 'Danses' and being able to admire this preserved tradition.
The weekends with a magnificent "CABALGATA" (parade) in which CABOLOS participate and the queens of the festivities, the 'Clavariesas' with their respective courts of honour and the exhibitions, concerts, cultural, sporting activities and the religious celebrations dedicated to Saint Agustin: the Novena, Mass and Procession.
