Segorbe Medieval Market

Segorbe Medieval Market

A stroll through the old quarter of Segorbe takes us back to the past. On the 9th and 10th of May these streets add a historical backdrop to the Medieval Market, becoming part of the process of turning the city into an authentic medieval village.

Around the handcraft stalls and workshops there will be all sorts of sideshows:  music, jugglers, oriental dances, exhibitions etc.

The important historical past of the city of Segorbe, has left its traces in beautiful monuments such as the cathedral, the old hospital, the town hall or the municipal museum, which houses treasures such as valuable works of art. A stroll through the old quarter reveals historical marvels of the city. What is more, the surrounding area offers cultural and ecological routes in the area of the Palancia River, which waters the fertile valley surrounding the city.
