CHIEF OF POLICE ANTONIO MORENO, WHEN ASKED WHETHER HE CONSIDERED THE POLICE RESPONSE "DISPROPORTIONATE" SAID SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF "YOU DON'T GIVE NUMBERS TO YOUR ENEMY".
MR MORENO, I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU:
ARE CHILDREN YOUR ENEMY? ARE THE PEOPLE OF VALENCIA YOUR ENEMY? IS THIS BUSINESS (WHICH PAYS MORE THAN YOUR ANNUAL WAGES) YOUR ENEMY?
WE CALL FOR THE RESIGNATION OF ANTONIO MORENO, HE'S EVIDENTLY OVERSTRESSED, SLIGHTLY MAD AND CURRENTLY CONTROLLING A DANGEROUS AND VIOLENT FORCE ON THE STREETS OF VALENCIA AGAINST CHILDREN, PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS.

The planned bypass of the N-332 Main Road as it goes through Benissa was the subject of a meeting held in the University yesterday with representatives of all the property owners affected by the future plans present.
The bypass has a budget of 12 million Euros and envisages works starting before this year is out. However at yesterday’s meeting, Jaume Gilabert, the president of the local collective stated that he was against the demolition of ten houses, ‘as they are the main residences of those concerned’. He also added that the amendments to the bypass were published in the Official Provincial Bulletin when everyone concerned was on holiday, and that the initial plans for three houses to be demolished went up to ten and that the expropriations included 40,000 square metres of land more than the original project. The meeting also demanded that possible alternatives should be studied.
